CENTER STAGE CHILDREN’S THEATER SUMMER CAMPS Get ready for an exciting summer with Center Stage Children’s Theater (CSCT)! Our theater camp offers a safe, enjoyable, and distinctive experience where "every child shines." Each week-long session includes daily classes in acting, singing, music, dance, and outdoor activities, all led by professional teaching artists. In this nurturing environment, children are introduced to the performing arts while gaining confidence in their talents and creativity. *The camp concludes with a mini showcase performance on the final day of each session. *CSCT Summer Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily, except on the last day when the performance begins at 3:00 p.m. and lasts approximately 20-30 minutes. This performance is free and open to all friends and family. The camp is available for children entering 1st grade, and kids entering Kindergarten who have previously attended TK or preschool, up to those entering 6th grade in the fall. Additionally, we welcome youth helpers for kids entering 7th grade through 10th grade. The youth helpers program aims to empower our older children to become leaders. With support from our staff, young helpers will have the chance to guide younger campers in engaging theater games and assist them in learning songs and dances. They can also choose to perform alongside their peers or lend a hand behind the scenes. *Refunds are considered on a case by case basis. If your reason for refund is approved, a $25 cancellation fee will apply. An additional prorated amount will apply if the child attended any days of camp. The shirts will be left at CSCT for the duration of camp, they will be able to take it home on the last day of camp. Campers should arrive to camp in regular clothes, but they will be required to put their camp shirts on over their clothes before we leave for the park. We will give campers time to change if they prefer not to wear the t-shirt over other clothes (we don't want them to get too hot or uncomfortable). It is important that all of our campers wear their CSCT camp shirt for safety, identification and unity as a group. Sunscreen: We plan on spending time outdoors, so please be sure to apply sunscreen before arriving to camp each day. CSCT will have sunscreen on hand, but you must sign the sunscreen application wavier in order for CSCT staff to apply sunscreen to your child. You may also supply your own sunscreen for your child. Water bottles: There is a drinking fountain at the church, however we ask that you provide your child with their own water bottle. We want to be sure our kiddos are fully hydrated during these hot days at camp. There is AC inside the church. |
