Important information for all CAST/CREW families
1. Parent Committees - We encourage all parents to join our committees and contribute at least 6 hours of volunteer time. There are numerous ways to get involved! Your participation is a valuable investment in your child's experience at CSCT. For more details about each committee, please check the sign-up genius link above
2. Comp. Tickets - Every cast and crew member can redeem 2 comp tickets.
3. Costumes/Shoes/Make-up - All cast members should arrive at each performance wearing underclothes. They should be able to change in and out of their costumes without needing a private changing area, as we have limited space for costumes and changing.
4. Shoes - For all rehearsals, cast and crew must wear closed-toe shoes. For the performance, each child needs to have closed-toe, all-black/tan/pink, soft-soled shoes. Jazz and ballet shoes are preferred.
5. Additional Optional Costs: T-Shirts - I will be creating The Little Mermaid Jr. Production T-shirts available for $25 each. There will be an email with more details to follow
6. CREW: For performances, crew members are required to wear all black or a CSCT The Little Mermaid Jr. production shirt. If you decide to purchase a production t-shirt for your crew member, they can wear it instead of a solid black shirt.
7. Closing Day Ceremonies - After our final performance on Sunday, May 4th, we will host a closing day potluck. We hope all cast and crew members, along with their families, can join us for this celebration.

CSCT Policies and Essential Information
1. Contact Information: You are welcome to reach out via phone, email, text, or in person after rehearsal. Kindly wait until I have completed the process of releasing the children before approaching me, as I am unable to manage both tasks simultaneously. My contact number is 760-586-1932 (Cell) and my email address is [email protected].
2. Rehearsal Attendance: It is crucial to prioritize and commit to CSCT. To ensure a successful production, your child must attend every rehearsal they are scheduled for, regardless of the size of their role. Collaborative effort is vital for strengthening the cast and enhancing the overall quality of the production. Please review the rehearsal schedule thoroughly to be aware of your child's call times. This time of year can be particularly challenging due to illnesses and extracurricular activities (such as band or choral concerts, sports, etc.). Inform your child’s teacher of their commitment to the rehearsal dates provided in the calendar; with sufficient notice, they should be accommodating.
Regarding illness, while minor ailments are common throughout the year, they should not be a reason to miss rehearsal. Unless your child has a fever, is vomiting, or is unable to stand, their attendance is expected.
3. Zero Tolerance Policy: There is a strict policy against any form of physical or verbal aggression. Any child exhibiting violent behavior towards another child or staff member will be prohibited from participating in CSCT productions. This policy also extends to verbal abuse. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
4. Device Policy: CSCT maintains a zero-device policy. All electronic devices, including cell phones and iPads, must be turned off and stored away upon entering CSCT premises. Please refrain from bringing these devices during tech week and performances. CSCT is not liable for any lost or stolen items, so it is advisable to leave valuables at home.
5. Expectations for Our Participants:
Core Values:
- Show kindness and respect to others
- Strive for personal excellence
- Emphasize teamwork
